RSV Website Redesign: Informing and Protecting Communities

Branding | Web | UX/UI | Responsive Design & Accessibility
We redesigned the RSV Uncovered microsite to raise awareness and provide vital information about Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). The project evolved in two phases:

  • Version One: Designed with full creative freedom, allowing for a visually engaging and custom experience to educate users on RSV risks, symptoms, and prevention.

  • Pfizer Pro Design System: Redesigned within the constraints of Pfizer's standardized design system, utilizing fixed components, colors, and templates for consistency and scalability.

Execution:

  • Design and Prototyping in Figma: Adapted to Pfizer's design system, balancing creativity with functional consistency to optimize user experience.

  • Responsive Website Development: Followed a mobile-first approach to ensure usability across devices, improving accessibility for diverse user groups.

  • Content Simplification: Organized key information (About RSV, Symptoms, Prevention, High-Risk Groups) into clear, digestible sections.

  • Interactive & Visual Storytelling: Used visuals, infographics, and modular blocks to simplify complex medical content.

  • Engagement Features: Included testimonials, expert insights, and call-to-action buttons to guide users to resources.

  • SEO & Analytics: Enhanced search visibility and implemented tracking to measure user engagement and site performance.

Results:

The RSV Uncovered redesign successfully delivered an accessible, engaging, and informative resource. While Version One allowed for creative storytelling and a custom design, the Pfizer Pro redesign ensured brand consistency and scalability across Pfizer’s platforms, positioning the site as a trusted RSV awareness tool.
